ADVANCED CUERDA SECA COURSE

THE COURSE IS OPEN EVERY DAY BY RESERVATION, from Monday to Friday from 1:30PM to 8:00PM and on Wednesday evening until 9:30PM. For foreigners, the course is held in English.

The course can be started at any time of the year and is designed as an hourly package to scale. Everyone can choose the time and day of attendance by communicating it week by week.

Students will be able to participate in this course only if they have already completed the CUERDA SECA BASE workshop or already have personal experience in the use of this ceramic decoration technique.

Duration: admission package of 10 hours of lessons.

TARGETS

The Cuerda Seca Advanced course is aimed at creating artifacts using this hot decoration technique of Spanish origin. The students will be followed individually in a collective environment in order to obtain ceramics decorated with terracotta motifs and supports chosen by the student.

PROGRAM

The advanced Cuerda Seca program includes the decoration of a terracotta artefact chosen in agreement with the teachers.

The processing steps will be:

- Design of the decoration to be carried out
- Transfer of the chosen decoration
- Decoration with cuerda seca technique
- Firing of the product

At the end of the admission package of 10 hours of lessons, students can continue the advanced CUERDA SECA course by purchasing from single hour to hourly packages to scale up to choice with offers on quantity. In this way, each student will be able to choose how long they want to make their study of the subject last.
