SCULPTING COURSE

THE COURSES ARE OPEN EVERY DAY BY RESERVATION, from Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday evening until 9:30pm. For foreigners, the course is held in English.

The course can be started at any time of the year and is designed as an hourly package to scale. Everyone can choose the time and day of attendance by communicating it week by week.

Attendance: we recommend 2 hours lesson, one or more times a week.
Duration: admission package of 10 hours of lessons.
Course cost (including firings and materials in the basic course): € 188.00
One-off secretarial fees: € 15.00

OBJECTIVES

The aim of the sculpture courses is to give students the ability to read any three-dimensional shape and then be able to translate it through clay modeling.

Fundamental requirements are passion, determination and application, given the relatively long time required for good execution. The teachers of the laboratory offer an academic line of training.

Depending on the experience and knowledge of the student, we will proceed by successive degrees of difficulty, starting from the copy of simple bas-reliefs and high-reliefs and proceeding over time, replicating increasingly complex sculptures, up to facing the whole round (heads, busts, whole figures ).

At the end of the hours of the admission package of 10 hours of lesson, students will be able to continue the sculpture course by purchasing individual lessons or packages of hours to climb, with special offers on quantity. In this way each student will be able to choose how long they want to make their learning path last.

Once the fundamental basic experiences have been acquired, more in-depth studies will follow, also characterized by partial personal interpretation, by type of processing and "touch".

The topics and subjects to be elaborated subsequently will be defined from time to time.

We periodically organize life studies with a model.

For expert sculptors, personalized programs are studied according to the theme of interest.

Thematic groups and stages of formation:

- Modeled in clay: life copies, bas-reliefs, all round (heads and whole figures)
- Anatomy studies: the human body, proportions and shapes
- Study and design: the head, the body, composition
- Thematic studies
- Plaster and silicone rubber molds for reproductions
- Reproductions in clay, fiberglass and plaster
- Foundry processes for bronze reproductions

The Sculpture Course is aimed at everyone, from the beginner to the expert:

Those who have no experience in the subject will find a friendly environment and highly qualified teachers who will be able to introduce the subject from the basics.

Those who already have experience in the sector will study an ad hoc program before starting the course.

All programs will take place always keeping in mind the learning needs of the student.

The laboratory is structured with all the professional equipment related to the creation of terracotta sculptures and the like in order to offer even the most experienced sculptor the opportunity to experiment with particular techniques.
