Roberta holds the certificate of Master of Art in Sculpture and Architecture at the School of Art in Bologna. A fundamental figure in her professional education was Gianfranco Trucchia, a well-known ceramist and sculptor with whom she designed and developed her first ceramic sculptures.

Roberta is a fundamental person in the staff of the Atelier Paese dei Balocchi for more than 24 years. She loves to conceive and seek the shape of each piece of art, finding harmony and enhancing it with color. This passion, combined with sensitivity to the properties of materials, characterizes the design of her refined ceramics.

Her artistic language instead, free of formal constraints, draws from the naturalistic world with playful sculptures / stories full of trees, fruits and animals. The sculptures are almost always made with ceramic raku and iron, representing surreal metaphors and unsolved questions. Roberta Angelini has exhibited her sculptures both in Italy and abroad and she’s been invited several times to international artistic events of Contemporary Ceramics.
